Rope Access Technicians Level 2-3 (male/female/divers)

with a proven track record in inspecting and repairing rotor blades for wind turbines.

Your area of responsibility:

As a rope access technician, you will carry out blade inspections and damage assessments, as well as fiber composite repairs, on wind turbines at height. You will ensure that all work is carried out safely and in accordance with current industry and company standards, and that it is completed on time and to specification.

Your main tasks:

  • Carrying out blade inspections and repairs on wind turbine rotor blades
  • Carrying out repairs using composite materials, grinding, filling, laminating and finishing to repair damage to wind turbine components
  • Ensuring that all rope access activities comply with IRATA (or equivalent) safety standards
  • Completing work documentation and reports to customer specifications
  • Working in a professional international team on construction sites in Germany and Europe

Your profile:

  • Proven experience in rotor blade inspection and repair
  • A valid medical check is required.
  • Valid GWO BST (ART, BR and EFA) are advantageous
  • Valid IRATA or FISAT certification for rope access (level 2 or 3)
  • Manufacturer-related training is advantageous.
  • A strong understanding of blade repair techniques and materials
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel, as well as the ability to work in difficult conditions at height
  • Sense of responsibility for safety, quality, and teamwork.
  • Class B driving license.
  • Languages: English or German
